Well, I hit 50,000 words and beat NaNoWriMo again. Still got some writing to do to finish the book, but it’s coming along nicely. Of course, now I have to take a quick break to get Fox 9 ready for proofing, but Fox 10 is coming together.

  1. Excellent!

  2. Yes. And speaking of Fox, while rereading the series again I remembered I point I wanted to comment on. United Anarchy. The name itself is quite the oxymoron, and I suspect that was an intentional poke at the intelligence of its founders, yet none of the characters have ever commented on it. Seems like an excellent opportunity for some clever sarcasm, and we know you love that (and we love that you love it).

  3. Looking forward to release and nice to hear another book is coming soon after. Hope NaNoWriMo is not a recepie for burnt out writers though

  4. Do you know roughly how far of Fox 9 is? Is it coming any day now or somewhere towards christmas? I probably seem impatient, Spent my day reading “Thrall” by E William Brown and now I am grieving that I am finished with it. The only thing that can make that better is yet another book to push that grief briefly into the future.

  5. GAH! This is funny I guess. My head’s in Fox too, I stop by here to check in and the advert banner is for something called ‘Synthroid’. Did a double-take so hard I hurt my neck a little bit. 🙄

  6. Wow – looks like we may get 2 back to back foxes?

  7. Happy news. I just finished re-reading Fox 1-8 last week and am currently re-reading the Princeps Venatrix books. Any chance we might see more of Di, Mike and company soon?

Also, I’m hoping that Piper (Bubbles) shows up again in the next couple of Fox books. I think she’d make an interesting PA for some MarTech employee 🙂

    • Not sure when the next Princeps book will be. I don’t think it’ll be too long.
I hadn’t planned on Piper coming back. She definitely isn’t in the next one, and the reason will be obvious when you read it. Maybe I’ll drop her in again. She does sort of deserve a happy ending.
